He was referring to the auto-x event at ZCON 2006 when I went to start the car prior to a single-lap run and I just didn't hit the starter long enough - it was just a short blip. It fired immediately on the second shot. I also ran the car at the Motorsports Ranch roadcourse - beat the mess out of the car for quite a while and had no problems there either. I would think if I had an overheating issue that a single 1-lap autocross run would have a much lower chance of overheating the engine than running for lengths of time on a roadcourse. Hopefully this will correct the myth that Spee put out there.
